Domestic orders are shipped via Australia Post. Standard shipping takes 3–5 business days. Express shipping takes 1–2 business days. International orders typically arrive within 3–7 business days depending on your location.

Yes — complimentary standard shipping is included on all domestic orders of two or more pairs. Single pair orders are subject to a standard shipping fee at checkout.

Yes, we ship worldwide. Both standard and express shipping options are available at checkout. All duties and taxes are included in the price — no surprises at delivery.

Orders placed before 2pm AEST are dispatched the same business day. Orders placed after 2pm AEST will be dispatched the following business day. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has shipped.

We accept returns within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be unworn and returned in their original packaging with all included accessories. Once we receive and inspect the return, we will process a full refund to your original payment method.

We offer full refunds to your original payment method — no store credit games. We believe if something isn't right, you should get your money back, no questions asked.

Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense for change of mind returns. If your item arrives faulty or damaged, we will cover all return shipping costs in full.

Each product page includes a full size & fit section with lens width, bridge width, temple length, and frame weight. If you own another pair of glasses or sunglasses, the sizing is printed inside the temple arm — use that as your reference. Our styles range from 48mm to 59mm lens width, suiting most face sizes.

The Titan (48mm) and Opal (53mm) are our most compact styles and suit smaller faces beautifully. The Sleek (59mm) is our widest frame and works best on medium to larger face widths.

While AELA is designed with women in mind, our frames are unisex in fit. The sizing across our collection suits a wide range of face shapes and sizes.

Our acetate frames — Chic, Lune, Opal and Rio — are crafted from premium plant-based acetate, a bio-based material known for its richness, durability, and refined finish. The Sleek is crafted from high-quality metal. The Titan is made from ultra-light titanium, one of the most premium frame materials available — lightweight, hypoallergenic, and exceptionally durable.

Plant-based acetate is derived from natural cellulose rather than petroleum. It's more sustainable, has a richer depth of colour, and feels noticeably more premium than standard plastic frames. It's the material of choice for high-end eyewear — and it's what we use at AELA.

Yes. All AELA lenses provide 100% UVA and UVB protection. UV protection is non-negotiable — every frame in our collection meets this standard.

Polarisation varies by style — please refer to the individual product page for lens details. Polarised lenses reduce glare significantly and are particularly beneficial for driving, water activities, and bright outdoor environments.

Yes — all AELA lenses feature a scratch-resistant finish. We recommend storing your frames in the included soft pouch when not in use and cleaning with the provided cloth to maintain the lens surface.

Yes — prescription lenses are available on all AELA styles. We offer single vision with 1.5 index and 1.67 high index lenses. Simply add the lens upgrade to your cart alongside your chosen frame and email your prescription and pupillary distance to support@aelaeyewear.com with your order number after checkout. Prescription orders are delivered within 7-10 business days.

Use the included microfibre cloth to gently clean your lenses. For a deeper clean, rinse with lukewarm water and a small amount of gentle soap, then dry with the microfibre cloth. Avoid paper towels, tissues, or clothing as these can scratch the lens surface.

Always store your frames in the included soft pouch when not in use. Avoid leaving them on dashboards or in hot cars — extreme heat can warp acetate frames and damage lens coatings over time.

We recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to saltwater or chlorine as this can affect the frame finish and lens coatings over time. A quick rinse with fresh water after ocean or pool use will help maintain your frames.
