AELA was founded by Dr. Muneeb Raza, an optometrist with several years of experience in the optical industry. Handling thousands of frames professionally — across every price point, every brand, every material — we developed a precise understanding of what genuine quality actually looks like. We built AELA because we couldn't find a brand that met our standard. The eyewear market is polarised — at the top end, exceptional quality exists but comes at a price that puts it out of reach. Everywhere else, compromises are made on materials, optics and construction that most people simply can't detect. We could. So we did something about it.
